Revised version
Don't need my Bible any more.
I've got my daily paper.
They have so much in common.
On page 1
both name the Sun,
and differ only
on the identity
of the owner.
On page 2
both have strong opinions
on man's behaviour,
and differ only
(in the interests of fairness)
in that the serpent
is now given equal space
to put his view of things across,
and on page 3
both saw that they were naked,
and differ only now
in the fixed smiles
and the total collapse
of the fig leaf market.
